The KBA Adviser Team Bi-Monthly Round Up: July – August 2026
It’s been another busy couple of months for our Financial Planning team, with plenty happening behind the scenes alongside their usual client meetings, reviews and financial planning work.
One of the highlights was undoubtedly our 25th Anniversary Black Tie Gala Dinner at Malmaison Manchester. We brought together our team, clients and professional connections to celebrate 25 official years of KBA. It was a fantastic evening and a special opportunity to reflect on how far KBA has come, while celebrating with many of the people who have been part of our journey.

Sarah Hogan – Company Director & Chartered Financial Planner
Alongside her ongoing client work, Sarah continued to focus on developing both the team and the service we provide to our clients. She attended her Openwork study group in Windermere to share ideas and learn from others across the profession, as well as meeting with Scottish Widows to discuss ways their proposition could be enhanced for clients.
Sarah also met with professional connections specialising in family law and estate planning, helping to strengthen relationships with trusted professionals who can support our clients with their wider needs.
Closer to home, Sarah continued her regular meetings with the adviser team, alongside leadership and wider team meetings. She also attended an MDRT Foundation Committee meeting, continuing her volunteering work with the global charitable foundation.
Hannah Needham – Financial Planner
Hannah has also been busy developing her technical knowledge. She attended a Scottish Widows Pension Roadshow, which included an update on pensions and Inheritance Tax, as well as completing a new cashflow modelling training session delivered by Openwork.
Hannah also met with two professional connections, continuing to widen KBA’s network of trusted professionals and helping us provide clients with support beyond their financial planning where needed.
Matt Marsh – Financial Planner
Matt continued his professional development through the fortnightly Omnis Live webinars, keeping up to date with investment developments and insights.
Learning as a Team
All three advisers also took part in a training session with Royal London, covering the latest updates around Inheritance Tax and the role life cover can play in financial planning.
It’s been a packed couple of months combining client work, technical development, collaboration and, of course, celebrating a very special 25-year milestone for KBA 💜
As always, if there is anything you would like to discuss or review, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Warm Regards,
The KBA Adviser Team
