Every month, we share some highlights of what’s been happening in and around KBA. This month, read about our involvement in the Nantwich Food Festival and how we raised money for local and national homeless charities by sleeping rough for a night. Plus, meet three new members of the ever-growing KBA family.
We had a fantastic 3 days getting involved in the Nantwich Food Festival, the first one back since 2019!
We enjoyed a fantastic three days getting involved in the Nantwich Food Festival, meeting with prospects from all across the country, getting to know local businesses, raising money for charity, and enjoying each other’s company.
Sending a special shout-out to the lovely Maisie who was doing back-to-back face painting all weekend for us while we got the pleasure of speaking to new and existing clients.
We finished the weekend in high spirits and can’t wait for next year when we get to do it all over again.
Watch this space for more events we will be getting involved in, in your local area over the next 12 months.
Our fabulous team took part in the National Sleep Out event and raised £1,390 for local and national homeless charities
Our wonderful team members took part in the “National Sleep Out” event to support both local and national homeless charities. We are pleased to share that we raised an incredible £1,390!
As well as raising money for a fantastic cause, the other reason we wanted to get involved in this event was to get a greater understanding of what those who are less fortunate than us endure on a daily basis; hunger, freezing temperatures, and a feeling of insecurity.
Yes, we were cold and uncomfortable, and all woke up desperate for a coffee and a shower, but then we got to go home to our warm houses, an option that those less fortunate than us do not have.
Overall, we feel incredibly blessed that we are not in that situation and certainly appreciate the smaller things in life a little more.
Please remember that we are going into the winter months where there will be even more homeless people suffering in horrific weather conditions. Simple acts of kindness like buying them a hot drink to warm their hands, donating clothes to shelters, or volunteering in soup kitchens can really go a long way.
If you’d like to donate, we’re still accepting donations – every penny we raise will make a difference to people facing homelessness.
Huge thank you to Paige, Simon, and the whole team at The Royal Oak, Worleston for letting us use their outside space and supporting us, we really do appreciate it.
Next year we want to make the event even bigger so please message us if you’re interested in getting involved.

Sarah Tate celebrates 10 years with KBA
Having recently returned from 12 months maternity leave, we celebrated our lovely Protection Administrator, Sarah Tate, on a fabulous 10 years here with us at KBA!
Sarah joined us back in 2012 as a temporary worker within our admin team. Clearly, we must be doing something right because 10 years later she is still stuck with us as a permanent employee.
Sarah is an incredibly hard worker, hugely knowledgeable and brings great banter to the office. We look forward to working with her for another decade, at least.
