Every month, we share some highlights of what’s been happening in and around KBA.
This month, three of the team celebrated their work anniversaries: Sarah Tate has been with us for 13 years, Gary Fletcher for three years, and Claire Sherlock has been assisting Sarah Hogan for a whole year already.
In other news, there’s a bit of a foodie theme, as Karen Fogg and her daughters hosted their 11th annual Afternoon Tea, and we enjoyed three terrific days at the Nantwich Food Festival.
Finally, we’ve been busy planning a topical webinar about planning for Inheritance Tax, and steps you can take to protect your wealth. We’d love for you to join us – see below for all the details.
Karen’s Afternoon Tea was bigger and better than ever!

This year marked the 11th Annual Afternoon Tea organised by Karen Fogg, held in loving memory of her much-missed aunty and in support of Breast Cancer Now.
Over the years, Karen and her daughters, Lucy and Amy, have constantly surpassed themselves, growing the event bigger and better each time – and this year was no exception.
In fact, the event has become so successful that it could no longer be hosted at the Fogg family home!
This year, the fabulous trio had to move the Afternoon Tea to an official venue. Not only has the Afternoon Tea become a popular annual event, but it’s so inspiring that the team from Breast Cancer Now came along to film the occasion.
Once again, the whole event was an amazing success; full of community spirit, laughter, and generosity.
Together, Karen, Lucy, Amy, and all their wonderful supporters raised an incredible £4,070 – a truly outstanding achievement.
Their dedication, energy, and passion continue to make this annual event a highlight on the calendar and an incredible force for good in supporting life-changing breast cancer research.
If you’d like to support Karen, Lucy, and Amy in their fundraising, any further donations are greatly appreciated and can be made via their JustGiving page. 💗
We enjoyed 3 fun days at Nantwich Food Festival

This year marked our fifth year at the Nantwich Food Festival – and every year it just gets better!
Over three incredible days, we enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people, catching up with familiar faces, and soaking up the brilliant community atmosphere that makes this festival so special.
The KBA company stall was staffed by Emma, Hannah, Cheryl, and Milly, who all loved being part of the festival again.
We always look forward to seeing the same familiar faces of local business traders. It really feels like a community coming together.
Special mention and massive congratulations must go to Peter Griffiths – the lucky winner of our Luxury Spa Day and Afternoon Tea for Two at Rookery Hall, after playing our game of Higher or Lower!
If you didn’t manage to see us at this year’s festival, make sure you join us next year. It’s a fantastic day out to enjoy with your loved ones.
In the meantime, don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and LinkedIn to keep up to date with all the local events we’ll be attending near you.
We can’t wait to be back at the Nantwich Food Festival again in 2026!
