KBA company news – here’s your latest update from the KBA team

Every month, we share some highlights of what’s been happening in and around KBA.

This month, while we can hardly believe it, another year has passed us by in a blink. Our final 2025 team update is all about giving back.

From the incredible success of Wood Street Mission’s Christmas Toy Appeal to charity bake sales and our preparation for further charitable feats in 2026, here’s a taste of what we’ve been doing in the run-up to Christmas.

A behind-the-scenes look at Wood Street Mission’s successful Toy Appeal

At the end of November, some of our team had the pleasure of visiting our friends at Wood Street Mission in Manchester to take part in their annual Christmas Preview. The truly inspiring visit gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work that goes into their Toy Appeal each year.

Wood Street Mission has long been close to our hearts. You may remember the previous projects we’ve supported by collecting donations, raising awareness, and helping provide essentials to families who need a little extra support.

They continue to do outstanding work, offering practical help to children and families living on low incomes across Manchester and Salford. From school uniforms and books to toys and Christmas gifts, their support makes a real and lasting difference to local families.

Seeing the Toy Appeal preparations up close reminded us just how special their mission is. Rooms filled with donated gifts, dedicated volunteers organising items with care, and a genuine sense of community spirit – it’s a powerful reminder of the impact generosity can have.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of their journey once again and we look forward to continuing our support wherever we can.

Keep your eyes peeled on our social media on Christmas Eve – we’ll soon be announcing which local charity will receive our Christmas donation this year.

It’s one reveal you won’t want to miss! 🎄

Nantwich ladies host the annual Christmas bake sale

Our wonderful Nantwich ladies were busy baking up a storm last month for their much-loved annual Christmas bake sale!

This year, the team proudly supported FareShare, a brilliant charity that redistributes surplus food to frontline community groups, helping ensure good-quality food reaches families and individuals who need it most. Every penny raised from the bake sale went directly to the charity.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Nantwich office to pick up some festive treats and show their support.

Plus, a special shoutout to Mandy – our marketer was delighted to find one of Mandy’s famous brownie bags waiting on her desk that morning. 🍫

Emma Bell is all set to take on the 2026 Lake District Ultra Challenge

We’re delighted to share that on 6 June 2026, Emma Bell will be taking part in the Lake District Ultra Challenge, where she’ll hike 25 km to raise money for The Brain Charity – a cause very close to her heart.

The challenge offers stunning but demanding routes through the Lakes, and Emma is excited to embark on this tough physical challenge while supporting an organisation that does incredible work.

The Brain Charity helps people across the UK affected by over 600 neurological conditions, providing emotional support, practical advice, and community services for individuals and families who need it most.

Emma’s fundraising will officially begin in 2026, so keep your eyes peeled for the launch of her JustGiving page and updates as she prepares for the big day. 🥾
