KBA company news – here’s your latest update from the KBA team

Every month, we share some highlights of what’s been happening in and around KBA. This month, we’ve been busy hiring new talent. We’re delighted to introduce you to our three new team members…

Meet Hannah Needham, our new junior adviser

What is your job title and who do you work alongside?

My job title is trainee adviser. I’m currently working alongside all of the administration and paraplanning team and report to Beccy Brooks.

What were you doing before you joined KBA Financial?

I worked for The Openwork Partnership as an adoption consultant, helping financial planners, paraplanners, and administrators across the North West make the most of a new customer relationship management (CRM) system, built by The Openwork Partnership, called ConcertHub.

And I’m helping KBA with ConcertHub as part of my new role!

Can you tell us a bit about your new role?

Eventually, I will be working as a financial planner, but I am currently on a 12-month training programme.

I’ll be working in different areas of the business from writing letters to providers and to clients, to learning the technical detail of building a financial report alongside other advisers.

I will also be shadowing KBA advisers when they speak to their clients, so that I learn from the experts and know the best way to treat my own clients in the future.

How was your first day at KBA Financial?

I was very nervous and arrived 45 minutes early! But the whole team settled me in and showed me how everything worked, from the photocopier to where the kitchen is. I felt very welcome and ready to crack on to help our clients.

So far, what do you enjoy most about your new role?

I’m really enjoying learning all the different processes. Most of all, I am really enjoying getting to know our clients and understanding what they want and need.

I also work with the loveliest group of people, which makes every day enjoyable.

What are you looking forward to in the coming months?

Attending meetings with our advisers and watching them work, seeing what they do for our clients to set up them up for their financial futures, and getting to know the full process like the back of my hand!

It involves a lot of face-to-face with customers and working with many online systems.
