To mark International Women’s Day, this month we’re all about the ladies of KBA – watch the video featuring all the brilliant women in the KBA family. Plus, Sarah Hogan is on the list for not one but two awards from the Openwork Partnership, and we’re looking forward to welcoming Emily Bartley back to the office.
But first, it’s another busy month with no less than six work anniversaries!
Most notable, Sarah Hogan, our beloved Company Director celebrates 18 fantastic years with KBA. Alongside Sarah, Emma Bell has been with us for four years, Maura Baines, Joe Webster, and Melissa Wright all celebrate two years on the team. And, last but by no means least, Milly Gresty has been with us for a year. 🎉
We celebrated International Women’s Day
To mark International Women’s Day, on Saturday 8 March, we celebrated the incredible women of KBA with a special video.
The ladies on our team all generously shared their amazing achievements, personal journeys, and the inspiring women who shaped them.
From family members performing on Broadway in New York to the strength of overcoming life in the care system, every story is a testament to resilience, ambition, and the power of women supporting women. ⭐

Sarah Hogan made the finals for TWO awards with the Openwork Partnership
KBA The Financial Planning Company is part of The Openwork Partnership – one of the largest and longest-established financial advice networks in the UK.
So, it was an honour and a lovely surprise when Sarah Hogan was named among the Openwork Partnership finalists for the Spirit of the Partnership and Leader in Sustainability award.
A huge well done to the winners, and a big thank you to Openwork and everyone who nominated her. 💜🏆💜
We’re excited to welcome Emily Bartley back to the office
We’re delighted to share that Emily Bartley, one of our valued Paraplanners, has begun her ‘Keep in Touch’ days as she transitions back from maternity leave. It has been so lovely to have her back in the office, reconnecting with the team and clients, and we can’t wait to welcome her back fully in June!
Many of you will know Emily in her role as a Paraplanner at KBA, but for those who were clients of Howard Bartley Financial, she will be a familiar face. Emily worked alongside Howard for more than a decade, supporting his clients with dedication and expertise.
Following the merging of Howard Bartley Financial into the KBA family in June 2022, she then officially joined KBA in the fall and continued providing the same high level of service to those she had worked with for years.
Emily’s experience, knowledge, and strong client relationships have always made her an invaluable part of the team, and we know many of you will be just as thrilled as we are to see her return.
We look forward to officially welcoming Emily back in June, but in the meantime, it’s been wonderful having her in the office during her Keep in Touch days!
